UPDATE:
This project is still on the go list, but I am truly too busy to handle this, especially alone. Looking for one, or two trusted people living in Richmond Virginia to help maintain this project. I will provide the codes for the calendars up to several months in advance, I just need some editors I can trust to help edit and maintain the blog this resides on, and any suggestions and improvements are always wecome.
If anyone is interested, check out the idea below and how it will work, and then COMMENT ON THIS BLOG POST with the words "I CAN DO THIS" if you are interested in helping maintain and admin the project. Of course this also requires some extra pushing and sharing to get people to realise that the project will be active, and all they have to do is add the info, but anyone wanting to help the RVA scene can help do that
If you have questions, you can post them here also, and I will try to answer them in a timely fashion, but I am requesting the tagline in a post "I CAN DO THIS" to distinguish those who might be availlable right away, as I am really needed the help. This is all voluntary, I make no money or profit from this venture (only spend it to maintain the link app) so this is all an act of love for the arts etc.

I think it's time we revive this blog. We are going to go in a complete different direction here, as we are going to begin hosting Linky Parties. In case you don't know what that is, you come to the blog and link up a fav post from your blog, and then if you really want more traffic, grab the code provided and place it in the same blog post you linked. Walla, new traffic to your blog, and the best part is all clicked links open in new pages. No lost traffic.
The difference here is going to be that I am going to use a linky party like an event directory, meaning folks from the RVA areas can add their own events to the monthly calendar I will post for each month. I will try to create these calendars to be here as far as 3 months in advance so everyone has ample time to add events. Each addition you make, will unfortunatly have to be checked and approved to avoid spam etc. but links should become active within hours. I will also soon create a badge for this blog, so you can help support us with a link to the entire calendar blog.
So as I am working on a whole series of link up parties and blog trains, this will soon have it's first series of Linky Calendars. If you also host a similiar event, (Blog Trains, Linky Parties, Contest, Givaways, etc (we use Linky Tools and Inlinkz) feel free to add your blog to our new Party Directory (we like to sometimes refer to it as out Train Depot). Check the link in the footer of this post to visit, and add your party, or find others to join.
