After playing locally for several years, both together and with various groups around Richmond VA, siblings Allyson and Curtis Mills, along with mandolin player Chris Hale, thought they might be on to something when they began blending the sounds of old time, bluegrass and folk with jazz and soul. This grew into what is now the Mills Family Band!
